What Did We Learn Today is about faith, family and entrepreneurship. You might understand how faith and family go together, but entrepreneurship? Trust me — when you strike out on your own it affects your family and your faith. In fact, you need a lot of faith to get through.

About the name — basically, I didn’t know jack for about 30 years. I thought I did. Worse, I acted as though I did. But a couple of years ago, right around the time I got married and we had our first child, I realized that I was an idiot.  So, after a little reflection I realized it was time to drop the act (because that’s what it was) and start paying attention to the way things are and not as I wished for them to be.

I’ve been learning something new every day. Most of it — not so profound. Some of it — very profound, and painfully obvious. (Isn’t it always?)

So, that’s what I hope to write about here, all in the context of faith, family and business. Stick around, have some laughs. But don’t touch anything.
